Quinoa Breakfast

Quinoa (keen-wah) is probably the most  nutritional breakfast there is. It is packed with everything your body needs.

Just put twice as much water as quinoa and cook covered for 15 minutes then add whatever you want. I added vegan butter, blackstrap molasses, nutritional yeast, raisins, craisins, blueberries, ground up almonds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon, vanilla soymilk and bananas to mine!

The ancient Incas called quinoa the mother grain and revered it as sacred. Each year at planting time it was traditional for the Inca leader to plant the first quinoa seed using a solid gold shovel!
